Needle Felting

These sculptures are made using raw unspun wool and occasionally armature wire for shaping. The needle felting process requires repeated stabbing into the wool with a very sharp specialized needle that slowly compacts the wool down and locks it into place. Some sculptures include other features such as plastic eyes or wooden plaques for hanging on the wall.
